This Santoku knife translates as “three uses”, suited for the 3 ways of Santoku: slicing, dicing and mincing. This is the slightly smaller version which is brilliant for smaller vegetables and can easily slice through thin-boned and boneless meats and fish.
Global's SAI knives feature a 3-ply stainless steel blade, with the core being made from Global's unique ultra-hard Cromova18 Stainless Steel and the two outer layers of 18/10 steel for added strength and corrosion resistance. Each SAI blade has an individually hammered pattern design on the blades to create hollow air pockets that reduce drag, allowing the blade to glide through food without sticking..
